Familiarity

Yesterday, like the ordinary Tuesday of the week, I meet my good friends to have a little chit-chat. I didn’t see it coming. I didn’t think of something that could give a slap on my face.

Familiarity. yes that was the topic.
Familiarity can easily lead us to ingratitude, or maybe to underestimate something.
Maybe you could say it’s a bit too far. But is it? Is it too far?

Well, how many of us hear (or maybe say) these lines;
duuh.. kaya begini aja masa ga bisa??
hah? masa kaya begitu aja ga tau?
masa ngerjain kaya begini aja ga bener?

Our familiarity of good systems, expertise, or even a person can make us demand others to do something in the right way umm.. correction. Demand others to do something right in our way. Because we use to do something or to think about something that way, doesn’t mean whoever who does or thinks in different way is wrong.

What if they ARE wrong? There is one line to answer it yasudahlah…
Not everything has to be under OUR control, in OUR way, same as OUR thought.
Not everything has to be changed for and/or by us.
Just let it be.
Because when you want to control and turns out you can’t control it, it’s you’re the one who can’t sleep at night.
